ANDREW FLINT SHIPMAN

'We are not human beings on a spiritual journey, we are spiritual beings on a human journey’

Pierre Teillhard de Chardin

The 19th solo exhibition of the vibrant symbolist paintings of the Artist ANDREW FLINT SHIPMAN.

He believes that positivity leads to positivity and has created a series of iconastic paintings looking at the intertwining of the physical and spiritual journey through life.
Influenced by Medieval illustrators and the 19th Century Symbolists his work however is firmly in the 21st Century.
Working in an array of colours on board, paper, gold, silver and platinum leaf. Andrew began his career in the theatre before painting professionally. He has exhibited in England, France, Spain, U.S.A and Scotland. He and his wife have set up Andrew Flint Design.com which takes items from his work and turns them in to 'useable & wearable art'.
