Oriental Still Life 1 Pastel

Award-winning artist Jackie Simmonds PSA will be exhibiting colourful pastels, oils and watercolours, wide-raning in subject matter, including landscape. still life, figure and abstract pieces. Jackie's work has received much critical acclaim; as well as winning awards for her work, many pieces have been selected for reproduction and are enjoyed world-wide. "I first came across Jackie's work in 1992 when she was a participant in the Nature In Art national competition and exhibition, which attracted a large and distinguished entry from artists from all parts of the UK. Jackie's work stood out, and the judges awarded her painting first prize for its compositional power and sensitive handling of the pastel medium. Since then I have observed the many significant developments in Jackie's work over the years as she has embraced new and wide-raning subject matter and different media.
