Moving on is
a concept these three artist are very accustomed to, with their East
European origin and subsequent progression, both physical and
psychological, into new assimilated identities. But also literally, as all
works shown here have moved from their previous locations, presenting you
with yet another chance to encounter what is best described as different
stages of exploration of self in its political and emotional realm.

Draw me a flower and I’ll draw you a flower
– interactive project
by Belma Lugić
Draw me a flower is an interactive project by Belma
Lugić in which she will be exchanging her flower drawings with
the audience. You are invited to draw a flower and leave it in the
gallery. In exchange for this gesture you will receive Belma's
flower drawing either in the gallery or by post.
This project is based on importance of friendship, love and care
that we need all the time, especially in the time of
difficulties.

Welcome to my world
- installation
by Nela Milić
My room is made out of newsprint; it does not exist, as the
refugee living in it is not a real person, but someone who you read
about in the newspaper - someone who eats the images of the food
written about in newspaper articles, someone who wears the clothes
even he / she dreams about.
The readers aspire to the same things allegedly possessed by the
refugees and asylum seekers. However, no one attains to them -
neither refugees nor the audience.

History, withdrawn
– installation
by Suzana Tamamović
History, repeated. History, unwanted. History, withdrawn…
history, recycled…
In the new installation that was influenced by her job at the
School of Slavonic and East European Studies library, where she has
been splitting Yugoslavia (yet again!) by reclassifying library’s
Yugoslav section Suzana reinvents the history of these otherwise
unwanted books.
Can orphaned history of the country, that once was, be turned
into some hope for tomorrow?
Suzana is also showing If only I had,
site specific intervention/installation
