Comment : ''What the heck, we ALL wanted to be like HCB!  Which young aspiring photographer wouldn't, after having seen his early works on the people of Paris and his Europeans series. This much admired and often copied genius has indeed influenced a great many artists, and unashamedly, I am one of them.

Andy and I got together in late June and decided to put together a show, having discovered that we both possessed a decent body of work on Paris, my favourite city. What we also discovered was that we both trekked the same streets of Paris, camera-in-hand stalking for photo-moments, like a bird of prey.

Seeing how similar our work was, we instantly recognised the 'HCB-esque' influence we both had and it became clear that despite growing up in different parts of the world, we are both akin to the same visual vocabulary that has been derived from the master's images. Merci Beaucoup, Mr Cartier-Bresson!''
